Beat Kaestli & Walter Fischbacher trio Beat Kaestli is an internationally acclaimed vocalist and recording artist residing in New York City. Moving to the US in 1993 he soon emerged as a seasoned performer in the NYC music scene, performing at clubs and concert halls, such as the Blue Note, Birdland and BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music). Since 2006 he is touring the world with his own projects, including Europe, Asia, Africa and North, South and Central America. He has released five CDs to date and in 2010 his Chesky Records release “Invitation” was part of the Official Grammy Selection for “Best Jazz Vocal Album”. He’s been featured on TV and radio worldwide and his latest CD "Collage" will be showcased on Swiss Air International this fall. This year Beat Kaestli is for the first time supported by
the renowned Walter Fischbacher Trio, bringing his infectious blend of Jazz, R&B and
World music to Europe. Having
performed the all over the world for many years, Fischbacher
is a New York based pianist, composer and recording engineer. He is a
successful recording artist and band leader, including the celebrated
trio “Phisbacher”, performing around the globe for over a decade. Petr

Vienna drummer Andy Winter rounds up the stellar line
up. After studying in New York he has performed with noteworthy
artists, like Brad Meldau, Larry Goldings and Ron
Carter, to name a few, and his versatility has lead him from
Jazz to R&B and Gospel, as well as the sensational Cirque

"Kaestli achieves much the
same spellbinding effect as José James on For All We Know” "His distinct principle of
sparseness sets him apart from the rest. A deeply felt Mood Album.” "Intimacy and inspiration" "A likably suave jazz
singer... a persuasive new album” “One of the most important
artists today.” "The magnetic and exciting
musicianship of Beat Kaestli who is simply Kaestli introduces things
with an angular original, intelligently designed and tuneful. If Astrud Gilberto has a
male counterpart, it's Beat Kaestli, a sublimely mellifluous singer
whose work is smooth as satin, slow, easy, and savory. A tasty mix throughout,
wannabes should note there was a lot of dues paying to get Kaestli to
this point and it’s what you have to do if you want to make it and make
it right. A winner throughout. Kaestli is an intriguing
talent with a unique vision. |
